As I became more aware of racial issues and the inequitable treatment of people of color became more widely publicized, I needed a community that could help me navigate what I was discovering. And Christians Seeking Justice became that community for me.

One of my most meaningful experiences with Christians Seeking Justice was our trip to the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama during the Jesus & Justice II conference. At this sacred place I walked among hundreds of steel monuments hanging to replicate the lynchings of innocent Black people. It changed me forever--all because of the great work of CSJ. I am grateful.

I've cared about civil rights and social justice since I was a child, but joining CSJ has helped me understand how much I still had to learn. Through this community, I've gained a deeper understanding of listening, learning, and pursuing justice. I'm incredibly grateful to be part of a group that has challenged and inspired me to grow.
