There are approximately 165 Scriptures in the Bible that express how much a part of God’s heart and character justice is and how important it is that his people do justice. As Jesus said of the teachers of the Law and Pharisees in Matthew 23:23, “you have neglected justice, mercy, and faithfulness. These are the most important things in Moses’ Teachings.” Our goal, as a group of Jesus followers, is to elevate this essential tenet of our faith, formation, and discipleship through the Spirit’s leading and biblical teaching.

We are on a quest to gather Christians and people of good faith who are committed to seeking justice like we read about in Isaiah 1:17 and in many other passages. If you've been thinking about being more and doing more in this area but haven't known how to start or what to do, this ministry is for you. We invite you to join us in promoting, pursuing, and doing justice. As Dr. Jemar Tisby put it, “When you pursue justice, you get more of Jesus.”

In addition, we hope to be a part of a “Good Samaritan” society that stops to help the harassed and oppressed rather than walking by on the other side. We want to follow the example the people of faith who came before us, spoke out against injustice, opposed racism, and were not silent or complicit. Spirit helping us, may we honor their memory and find their courage for this moment.
